2 days of Wendler

Back Squat
117.5kg x 12 - lost it in the bottom of 13
52.5kg x 5
- assistance push-ups and dips
155kg x 5
Bench Press
70kg x 7
- Assistance push-ups and dips

According to the numbers I am getting stronger with the program so I am going to stick with it. It is only twice a week. It may just be I am not working like a retard and I am actually eating normal again and getting lots of sleep.


  1. Great progress. I think the Wendler is great, good periodization and by putting the two lifts together like this I think you maximize rest/recovery for optimal gains. Once I ride these novice gains out I will establish some new maxes and flip over to a Wendler 5-3-1 + some met-cons. By just tossing in 1-2 met-cons/week my conditioning is staying top notch.
