I have to get used to the fact these workouts do not lay me out like a ME or Met Con. I am having fun with them and will see where I go. I want to compete November 21st in the Alberta Provincials in the Senior category in the 85kg division.

    Take it from Pat, who is clearly a big fan of the O-lifts. He sparked my interest in them and I am hooked. I love the O-lifts and enjoy the "art" of the learning the technique. That and then the traditional strength movements like the Front/Back Squats, presses and DL's.

    Thanks for the comment! Pretty funny to hear the doc say that, isn't it? I told our coach at the gym who, like yourself, prides himself heavily on his nutritional knowledge and he just laughed. My doc is a good guy but the fact he makes that comment makes me wonder that if i was obese what recommendations he would make to help me lose weight. Would he put me on a pill or series of pills? Who knows.
